Half Hog Order Information

Thank you for choosing to purchase a half hog! We’re committed to providing you with high-quality, locally-raised pork that you can feel good about. Here’s how the process works:

Ordering Process:

1. Reserve Your Hog: To begin your whole-hog order, please submit a $100 deposit. This will reserve your hog and lock in your order.
2. Cut Sheet Review: Once your deposit is received, we will send you a cut sheet. You’ll be able to review and select the cuts that best suit your family’s needs. We’re happy to go over your options with you for a transparent understanding. 
3. Transportation and Processing: On processing day, we will transport your hog to a USDA processor. After the processing is complete, we will pick up your meat and deliver it directly to you within 50 miles at no additional charge.
4. Final Payment: The final payment will be due once your order is delivered. Monthly payments can be arranged for whole/half orders.

Pricing Details:

• Hanging Weight: The average hanging weight for a whole hog is between 110 lbs to 130 lbs. You can expect to receive about 75-90 total lbs of meat.
• Cost:A half hog processed with delivery included amounts to $550. 
• Deposit: A $100 deposit is required to reserve your hog.

Custom Cuts:

The meat will be custom-cut to your specifications. The exact amount of meat you receive will vary based on your choices for bone-in or boneless cuts. You will get to choose your packaging, thickness of certain cuts, and your own preference of our fresh, smoked, or flavored cut options! 

Delivery:

• We will arrange delivery of your processed meat within 50 miles of the farm at no extra charge. Pick-up is available directly from the farm unless otherwise arranged.
